ECTS are weighted as follows: 10 hours = 1 ECTS
 
Students should reach a total of 70 ECTS within the three years according to the following distribution:
  • Min. 18 max 26 ECTS from successfully attending compulsory and optional courses (C: Compulsory Courses; O: Optional Courses)
  •  Courses may be offered in collaboration of other PhD programs that are organized by the 4 universities that contribute to the PEI consortium  
  • Min. 10 Max 18 ECTS from ‘seminars package’ (+ summer schools and/or seminars that may be chosen from partner programs with the agreement of the supervisor, who will assess the corresponding ECTS)
  • Min. a lower-intermediate certified knowledge of a language other than English (Italian strongly recommended for non-Italian speakers.
  • 4 CFU from ‘Phd colloquia’ at the end of first and second year.
  • 36 ECTS: thesis
