Dashrath Reddy Kurli

Dashrath Kurli holds a Bsc in Politics and International Relations and a M.A in International Affairs from the University of London and the Jindal School of International affairs respectively. He is interested in the everyday practices of state formation and in criminal pathways towards statehood on the borders of Europe.
His research is mostly geared towards an ethnographic analysis of state formation and the methods of spatialization and territorialization that state agents employ to create governable spaces under the imperatives of globalisation and global capital. Thesis title (provisional): Criminal Sovereignty: State-building practices on the cocaine coast. Supervisor: Prof. Francesco Strazzari
