Laura Berlingozzi is a PhD candidate in Political Science, European Politics and International Relations. Her project focuses on the role of women in crisis-management and stabilization policies in the MENA region.
She holds a second level Master Diploma in Diplomacy and International Politics from the University of Bologna and a Master's Degree magna cum laude in International Politics from the University of Padua. She also studied in New York and in Sweden.
Laura has worked for four years for several Brussels-based organisations such as the European Parliament and different NGOs. She also interned at the Italian Permanent Mission to the UN in New York. Her main expertise lies in the fields of security studies and gender studies. She is particularly interested in the role of women in jihadist networks.
