Luigi Cino holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the Faculty "Cesare Alfieri" of the University of Florence and a Master's Degree cum laude in International Relations from LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. He completed two exchange semesters abroad, at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain) and in Morocco, at the Ecole de Gouvernance et d'Economie de Rabat. He later obtained a Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies at the College of Europe, Natolin Campus (Warsaw). His main research interest is the European Union's External Action towards Neighbouring Countries of North Africa and Middle East, in particular concerning the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP).
