Maria Giovanna Sessa graduated with honors in Political Science and International Relations. She holds a BA from the University of Milan and two MA from the University of Pavia and the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) respectively. Academic, volunteering and work experiences in Italy, Belgium and Portugal strengthened her preparation, while her main research interests cover political parties, democratic representation and Southern European countries.
